In 2026, DSIK launched the ESG Risk Radar Sector Analysis for Zambia, providing a comprehensive assessment of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risks across ten high risk sectors of the Zambian economy. The analysis supports financial institutions in identifying and managing ESG risks within their lending portfolios.
The analysis was handed over to the Bankers Association of Zambia (BAZ) as custodians, following a validation process involving key stakeholders, marking an important step towards strengthening sustainable and responsible finance in Zambia.
